HomeCollectionsBespoke Sofas

Collection · Lead time 8 to 12 weeks

Bespoke sofas and lounge seating, drawn around how you actually sit.

Hardwood frames, hand-tied or sinuous-spring suspension, foam grades from medium-firm to plush, and your choice of cover fabric or full-grain leather. Built to last a decade of family use, re-upholsterable indefinitely.

What goes into the frame

Kiln-dried kempas or rubberwood, mortised and dowelled.

Our sofa frames are built from straight-grained kempas or premium-grade rubberwood, both dimensionally stable in Malaysian humidity. Stretcher rails are double-doweled and corner-blocked; arm posts are mortised into the front rail. No staples in the joinery — staples only fasten upholstery webbing.

Suspension is your choice: traditional hand-tied jute webbing for a sit that softens over the years, or German-engineered sinuous springs for a firmer, more level surface. Both ride on a hardwood frame, not on a plywood deck.

Choices that matter

Three decisions we walk you through before quoting.

01

Foam grade and feathers

Two foam densities for seats (medium-firm 35kg or plush 28kg), two for back cushions, and an optional feather-and-fibre wrap for the “sink-in” look without the hassle of constant plumping.

02

Cover and removability

Linen blends from local mills, performance fabrics for households with kids, and full-grain Italian leather for clients who want a piece that patinas. All covers are fitted with concealed zips for cleaning and eventual replacement.

03

Geometry for your room

Seat depth from 540mm to 720mm, arm heights from 580mm to 720mm, and back-pitch tuned to whether you watch TV upright or read with your feet up.

Typical pieces in this collection

  • Three-seater with chaise — our most-asked-for sectional, with a separate chaise that can sit on either end and be flipped during refurbishment.
  • Modular sectional — two to five independent modules in matching upholstery, configurable into U, L or face-to-face arrangements.
  • Daybed — for guest rooms, reading nooks and verandahs. Solid-wood platform with a tailored mattress-style cushion and bolsters.
  • Reading chair and ottoman — a single seat with a high back and matching footstool, in solid wood or upholstered.
  • Outdoor lounger — chengal frame, marine-grade webbing and quick-dry foam for covered balconies and verandahs.
